HKPartnerNetusa - Second generation trade website developed for the Hong Kong Tourism Board. Content includes Hong Kong travel information, upcoming major events, sales tools and promotional information for wholesalers and travel agents. Design, writing, programming, hosting and maintenance handled by GCG.

Sydney Photo Tour - Site developed by GTM for Sydney Olympics sponsor, Eastman Kodak. This was Kodak's official Sydney Olympics website. The photo-rich site shows Sydney, Australia in depth through interactive maps, over 1200 licensable photos, travel tips and captions. A special news section showed daily photos during the Olympics.

Italy Photo Tour - Photo-rich site that provides an in-depth experience in Italy. The photo tour has over 600 photos with captions, interactive maps, photo licensing engine and galleries displaying photographers' photos. A special site-within-a-site provides insider recommendations and tips on what to see and do in Tuscany.

Hong Kong City Photo Tour - First of three sites developed for the Hong Kong Tourism Board and Eastman Kodak. This site was produced as a promotional tool to show the many aspects of Hong Kong and was placed on Kodak.com for a month in Fall, 2001.

Mini Web Sites
HKHotDeals - Developed to present and promote the "Hot Deals" packages that HKTB arranged with wholesalers and airlines to attract visitors back to Hong Kong post SARS. This consumer site was the landing page for links from major market newspaper advertising and provided links to more detailed content on packages and pricing. GCG hosted and maintained the site for three months.

Hong Kong "Live It! Love It." Rewards - A mini site was developed to register travel agents for an incentive program promoting the 2004 ASTA World Travel Congress in Hong Kong. GCG developed the Rewards program, the email and online promotional materials, coordinated all registrations and follow-up communications as well as winners' travel.

Imagine Hong Kong - Created for the HKTB MICE program to promote and register North American incentive and meetings planners for a major Hong Kong familiarization program. The program included personalized email invitations with links to the mini-site for registration. RSVPs were automatically sent to HKTB and accumulated online.

ENewsletters
HKTB Premier ENewsletter - Designed and programmed the first-ever online trade newsletter for HKTB North America. Newsletter was distributed via email to wholesalers and travel agents and was also accessible on the HKPartnerNetusa website. A second edition of the ENewsletter was created and sent in the late Fall of 2004.

Event Invitations
Travel Agent Seminars - Designed, produced and distributed personalized and localized html email invitations to travel agents inviting them to attend HKTB product seminars in 30+ venues around the U.S. Additionally, handled personalized broadcast fax invitations. RSVPs were collected via special online forms, spreadsheets and automatic emails.

VIP Fams for Hong Kong "Welcome Day" and ASTA World Travel Congress - To show firsthand that Hong Kong was back to normal after the SARS crisis, HKTB entertained 150 U.S. VIPs in Hong Kong for several days in August, 2003. GCG handled all the invitations, RSVPs, travel requests, travel confirmations, follow up communications and coordination of the program. We also coordinated the fams for VIP travel agents attending the Hong Kong ASTA World Travel Congress.

"Hong Kong Day" in New York and San Francisco - To announce Hong Kong's come-back post SARS marketing campaign, HKTB invited key business leaders and consumers to celebrations and presentations in Times Square and Union Square. Dignitaries from Hong Kong attended. Invitations and RSVPs to the events were handled online by GCG.

Email Broadcasts
Retail Promotions - HKTB broadcast emails with retail price and package messages are designed, written and produced by GCG several times during the year. Emails are sent to opt-in databases by GCG as well as via the major trade email services.

Festival Promotions - HKTB emails promote key festivals several times over the year. Chinese New Year's, Bun Festival, Summer Shopping Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, WinterFest, all are promoted via html email with links to more detailed pages. Copy, design, and distribution of the emails are handled by GCG.

Crisis Communications - With SARS, the Iraq War and Bird Flu, HKTB needed to send several communiqués on short notice. They accomplished this via email to selected lists. We wrote, designed and distributed the messages - most of the time within just a few hours. GCG staff also followed up HKTB suppliers and key accounts by telephone as well.

ASTA World Congress Promotion - HKTB asked us to develop communications to stimulate attendance at the ASTA World Travel Congress in Hong Kong. We developed several broadcast emails to promote attendance and to encourage agents to register for the HKLiLi Rewards incentive program.

Requests for Supplier Participation - We have used email letters to request participation of Hong Kong suppliers in seminars and advertising. This is an example of a letter that we wrote and sent urging suppliers to participate in the post-SARS HKTB advertising. Response to the letter was excellent.

Online Advertising
USA Today Online - Designed, wrote and produced this consumer ad that appeared on USAToday.com. Ad was to alert consumers to the Year of the Monkey and give them reasons why they should visit Hong Kong. The ad linked to a landing page providing 12 specific reasons to visit.

Travelocity Advertising - Produced ads in animated gif format to communicate a longer message in more compelling form.

Travel Weekly Banners - Produced several banner ads that have appeared on Travel Weekly.com. The banners have been in various sizes and formats including animated gifs.

Online Sales Tools
City Photo Tours - Created several short 30-slide photo tours for use by airlines and travel marketers online and in sales presentations. The photo tours provide highlights of the destination in photos and captions. 25 destinations have been completed.

Sales Tool Requests - Created section of HKTB trade website where wholesalers and travel agents can download coupons, sales graphics and copy as well as request brochures, flyers and postcards.
